Beyond freestyle, Valentin Milkov also held national records in backstroke and individual medley events — demonstrating technical mastery, endurance, and versatility across multiple swimming disciplines.

Historic 11 Gold Medals at a Single Championship

During his teenage years, Valentin Milkov achieved a historic performance at the Bulgarian National Championships — winning ten individual gold medals and one relay gold in a single competition.
